Once your application has been submitted successfully, your CV and all corresponding information is sent across to the Recruitment Consultant and/or Candidate Manager who are working on the role. They will review your CV against the requirements of the company that the role is listed by, and assess for things like skills and culture fit. If they believe you'll make a good fit for the current role, then they'll reach out via phone or email to schedule an initial conversation.
Owing to the sheer number of applications that are currently being received for roles, it isn't always possible for the consultant to personally message you. If you're unsuccessful then you will receive an email from our system that notifies you of this. Your CV may be held so that we can then consider you for other roles in future.
Whilst we're working through applications as quickly as possible, there is a slight delay in how quickly we may be able to respond. Many roles are receiving upwards of 200 applications, and we want to ensure everyone is receiving equal review which takes time.

Contracting can be a rewarding and successful option for employment. Contractors tend to earn more, have greater flexibility and can build a greater scope of expertise on their employment portfolio. However, the trade off is loss of traditional job security, and needing to monitor your own tax and legal obligations. Possibly the most important thing to understand is that Independent Contracting is not an employee relationship.
