The gender at work community recently held a BYO man lunch. Sif Arnardottir from our Auckland office who frequents the events held by the gender at work community decided to bring Chris Martin and David Divett down to attend. The aim of this event was to move beyond buzzwords and transform the intentions many of us have into impactful actions. Men often hold positions of power in the workplace, so the reason for the BYO man part of this event was to bring together male leaders in their industries to learn about progressing gender equality at work across Aotearoa.
With a majority female staff at FIND, gender equality at work at a topic that is close to our hearts! We at FIND Recruitment believe that ll people have the right to be treated equally and to be given the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their gender. Gender inequality is a root cause of many other social problems and we are proud to do our part in make people of any gender feel respected, valued, and empowered within the workplace.
By fostering an inclusive and diverse environment, we strive to break down barriers, challenge stereotypes, and promote a workplace culture where everyone's skills and contributions are recognised without bias. We believe that embracing gender equality not only strengthens our team but also contributes to a broader societal shift towards fairness and equal opportunities. Together, we aim to create a workplace that not only reflects these values but actively champions them, setting a positive example for the industry and inspiring positive change in the world beyond our office walls.
