Return to Previous Page

Find Recruitment have partnered with a wide range of public and private healthcare organisations for recruitment services since 2008. Through these long-term engagements and our tenure servicing the healthcare sector, we have learnt to appreciate the opportunities, challenges and complexities of the sector first hand.

Experience with Healthcare organisations

We have worked with a range of public and private healthcare organisations such as:

Access Health, Spectrum Care, Green Cross Health, Tamaki Health NZ, Mercy Ascot, Boulcott Hospital, Access Community Health, HealthcareNZ, Central Regional Health School, Manatu Hauora - Ministry of Health New Zealand, Summerset Retirement Villages, Elation Health, Tu Ora (Compass Health), Wairarapa District Health Board, Oceania Healthcare, Acurity Health Group Ltd, Orion Health, Laura Fergusson Trust, Heritage Lifecare, Masonic Villages Trust, Barnardos, Plunket and of course, Te Whatu Ora.

We have outlined a Te Whatu Ora case study here.

The New Zealand Healthcare Sector & Te Whatu Ora’s goals

Our health system faces a myriad of complexities and challenges. One key issue is accessibility, particularly for rural and certain demographic populations, where geographic isolation and socioeconomic factors can hinder access to healthcare services. Additionally, there are disparities in health outcomes among different demographic groups experiencing higher rates of certain diseases and lower life expectancy compared to the general population. Our health system also grapples with resource constraints, including workforce shortages, funding limitations, and aging infrastructure, which can lead to delays in treatment and compromised quality of care. Also, the fragmented nature of our healthcare system, with a mix of public and private providers, presents coordination challenges and can result in inefficiencies in service delivery and resource allocation. Addressing these complexities requires comprehensive strategies to improve access, equity, and efficiency in healthcare delivery while ensuring sustainable funding and workforce development initiatives.

We understand Te Whatu Ora is creating an equitable, integrated and sustainable health service – a health service believes “who you are, or where you live should not determine the range and quality of services you receive” and that all New Zealanders deserve access to consistent quality care when they need it, to live longer in good health and have the best quality of life.

We understand Te Whatu Ora works to increase collaboration, strengthen leadership and accountability, and improve equity of access and outcomes across the health service. Te Whatu Ora is shifting the emphasis towards primary and community care allowing more people to be cared for close to home, and take a greater role in their own health and wellbeing.

We understand Te Whatu Ora believes that every New Zealander should have access to the right care at the right time no matter where they live.

We at Find Recruitment support these goals and beliefs and look forward to continue to support Te Whatu Ora identifying and secure the right talent in order to achieve these goals!
