Te Whatu Ora has embarked on a Digital Workspace Programme to enhance operational efficiency and collaboration. In October 2023, Find Recruitment was engaged to source scarce contract resources, specifically for the National Service Desk stream.
Te Whatu Ora engaged us to fulfil 15 vital roles for their Digital Workspace Programme. With project deadlines looming, there was pressure to swiftly identify, screen, and onboard suitable candidates to maintain project momentum. We leveraged our specialist IT Talent Pools, our existing contractor base (including for candidate referrals) and together with other specific sourcing strategies, we managed to identify top talent with the requisite skills for each Te Whatu Ora role.
Each candidate underwent meticulous screening to ensure alignment with Te Whatu Ora's requirements and culture to minimise the risk of mismatches and ensure high-quality placements. We maintained regular communication with candidates, providing updates and support throughout the recruitment process to foster a positive candidate experience. We successfully placed 13 out of the 15 required roles within the National Service Desk stream, achieving an 86.7% fill rate and contributing to the success of Te Whatu Ora’s Digital Workspace Programme.
The roles filled included a Test Lead, a Cloud Infrastructure Architect, a Project Coordinator, 2x Senior Project Managers, an IT Architect specialising in ServiceNow, a Senior Project Manager specifically for ServiceNow projects, a Senior Technical Business Analyst experienced in VMware/Citrix, 2x Floor Walkers, a Senior Business Analyst specialising in RFI, a Senior Business Analyst and a Senior Resource Advisor.
