The purpose of the role is to provide independent advisory and assurance services, specifically the provision of high quality advice and recommendations on the improvement of management processes, systems and controls to support this group of companies in the achievement of their strategic and operating objectives.
Working with the Group Head of Internal Audit you will develop and implement strategies and tactics that deliver a competent, efficient, value adding, self-sustaining internal function for the Group. You will lead the Conduct and Culture elements of the IA Plan, including analysis and reporting up to Board Level.
This is a leadership position where strong written and verbal communication skills are a pre-requisite. Experience within financial services would be a benefit, but your extensive experience with auditing/risk management will be needed in order to lead the development, maintenance and timely execution of the annual IA Plan.
Your passion for people will see you working with the Group Head of Internal Audit in enhancing the capability and skills of the IA team, transferring your senior IA and FS knowledge and experience to those around you.
