Your role will report to the Executive Leader Finance and Corporate Services where you will lead, develop, and implement the operational plan for the corporate services team and ensure the day-to-day operations are well looked after.
You will have a continuous improvement mindset as well as the experience and capability of managing a team where you will need a high level of empathy and excellent communication. This role is an integral part of the business where no day will be the same and will provide you with a challenge that will be both productive and rewarding.
You will be responsible for managing the supply chain and procurement for the business ensuring these are run effectively with a smooth and robust process. You will look after buildings and property/facilities management as well as the stores, outsourced service providers and asset management whilst also imperative to build rapport with key stakeholders along the way.
Your role will also be responsible for budget requirements, analysis of the corporate services team financial performance, manage training and development of staff, lead legal and compliance obligations as running tenders.
Your experience will likely include:
- Ability to demonstrate hands on procurement, supply chain and facilities experience
- 3 years + managing a team
- 10-15 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience in delivering cost and efficiency savings
- Proven experience and understanding of contract negotiation and tender process management
- An enthusiastic outlook with the will to succeed
