Our large Technology client is looking for a Commercial Analyst to work in the Commercial Pricing team across the business.  As the Commercial Analyst you will be responsible for providing pricing support, financial modelling and commercial expertise to the Sales team.
The role will require you to work closely with senior stakeholders developing effective working relationships, while having the ability to assertively push back and challenge when required.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Model complex deal options, being innovative and applying knowledge from previous offerings.
  • Provide tailored financial solutions by using tools such as TCO, discounted cash flows, operating leases, capitalisation, gross margins, ROI and contribution analysis.
  • Ensure pricing policies are complied with and approval is made at the correct level of authority. 
  • Work closely with Sales to understand specific customer requirements and recommend commercial solutions. 
  • Ensure that deals are priced and turned around within expected SLA’s.
  • Provide competitive intelligence to the product owners to ensure pricing strategies are well informed.
  • Competitor and market analysis 
  • Financial analysis to provide data driven results to make effective business decisions 

We are looking for someone with solid commercial experience, financial modelling and strong financial skills.  You will have strong analysis and numerical skills and be able to identify business opportunities.  Experience working with legal agreements, competitor analysis and market pricing would be hugely desirable.
